We work with young carers and their families. Young carers are at the centre of the support we provide but we know that young carers are part of a family. To best help young carers we offer time out and individual support to the young carer and also offer support to meet the needs of the family as a whole.
We want to make sure that our service is available to all so contact with families usually takes place in your own home. We will arrange to come and visit you in your home to talk about how things are and if there is anything we can do to help. Some of the help we offer to families is listed below.
someone to talk to
help with housing benefit and council tax
referrals to food bank
help with grant applications

help to access services
help with applying for benefits

We often work with young carers and their families over a period of time. It gives us the chance to get to know you and for you to get to know us.
